I was very impressed with this hotel/motel and will add it to my list of Omaha hotels when I need to stay in the City again.
The office and dinning facility was located in a separate building from the individual hotel buildings witin the gated facility. Limited parking is available near this main building.

good size rooms. we liked the separate bedroom. nice kitchen and bath areas.
we had a non-smoking room, which smelled like smoke. there was no maid service. we stayed 2 nights and the maid didn't come the after the first night. she showed up an hour before we were going to check out.

The staff was courteous and helpful. Everything was impeccably clean. Bed was soft and comfy. King suite was huge - bedroom, living room, and fully equipped kitchen. Hot breakfast was excellent. Pool area was clean & inviting.
Wish the breakfast stayed open until 10am on weekdays for family travelers. Business people are up & leaving early, but families tend to move at a more leisurely pace.

Very nice suite.. Away from the high traffic streets but close enough to the main commuter streets. Very quiet neighbor hood.

It begins with the setting; away from hiway & roads enough to block noise. Interior walkways & paths are pleasingly lined with tree's & landscape. Very private & secure entry'S. We paid a little over $100 incl. Tax for a King Suite! Even though we were on the top floor the room stayed very cool in over 100 degree weather. Bed was very comfortable, room smelled nice, had hot water immediately upon running it. Free Breakfast was awesome!!!! The front desk staff & kitchen staff were the nicest of anywhere we have ever been! It was a jump onto the hiway for quick arrivals, or very easy access if we wanted to take city streets. We will be back to the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Omaha!
I have only one thing; the carpets could have been better vacuumed in corner/ under bath vanity type places...but that is minor because in the places we walked it was fine.

This facility was recently (4 months ago) taken over by Wyndham. It could have been an appartment complex. Large well equipped units; comfortable; clean; nice, well-heated, well-maintained pool, excellent breakfast, attractive landscaping.

It was a little hotel in a nice area, very close to Subway, a good drive away. The staff were constantly helpful and caring. We had the most perfectly pleasant few days there.
The room was too bad, we expected better.

Suggestion: When people check in with a pet, give them a bag with "doggie poop bags". We would have been happy to pick up after our pet, but didn 't have bags to discard the waste. Maybe include doggie treats as well!
